LOOK AT HOME RUN LEADERS FOR 1987!!!!! i heard a rumor but didnt believe it till i researched it. i heard that the players union gave out steroids and HGH in their supplements and ENCOURAGED the players to take them, and then they realized they messed up. one that stuck out was wade boggs. he never hit more than 11 home runs and then in 87 he hit 24 in one season. trust me he isnt the only one. find a list on yahoo or somewhere about the 1987 homerun leaders, and look at the first 25 they all had career years that just stick out on the stats

1. Steve Stone said the First time he saw people taking Steroids in baseball was in the Mid/late 1970's. Baseball has been dirty for a while and needs to be cleaned up.

6. Guilt by association is a dangerous thing. Guilt by assumption without proof is equally dangerous. That's like saying "Look, Jacob is hanging out with guys who steal cars therefore Jacob must steal cars." or "Look, Jacob hangs around those guys who steals cars and now he has a new car therefore he obviously stole it." The competition to keep your job is unreal and players will do whatever they can to have the upper hand, I Know it is wrong but I can see exactly why they do it. Financial Freedom, Playing the game they love, being a star I mean the pros are so abundant and the cons are so hidden and not believed, but the danger of steroids is abundant as well but when you think about what you can become with them, its a risk ALOT of players will take.
