2. As is evident by the name, growth hormone can make a person taller. However, this can only happen while the epiphises, (growth plates of the long bones) are open. This means during childhood or adolescence. The way to make sure the epiphises are open, get an x-ray of the wrists. Use of growth hormone during these ages should be under the supervision of a endocrinologist. How much a person can grow during this time, using HGH depends on many things like genetic predisposition, general state of health, diet, etc. Yes, you can buy it. You don't need a prescription. You can buy it from several distributers,(they're not hard to find). The cost is four hundred dollars (lump sum), for a one year supply. The distributers are reluctant to sell to people under forty, (not for growth, but for well-being).
3. Human growth hormone is extremely expensive. I would be very wary of sites that offer it through the mail or internet. You could get royally scammed. There are medical protocols to administer growth hormone to persons with certain genetic syndromes associated with short stature. HGH will increase the height of a person who is still growing, that is a person whose epiphyses (growth plates) haven't fused yet. The individual results are not very predictible, and may be measured in a very few centimeters. The long term risk/benefit assessment has yet to be determined.
