Is HGH (Human Growth Hormone) legal? Are there any bad side affects from it?

1. I've heard that people that use it a lot have to get braces because it causes spacing in their teeth, for one thing.
2. if you've got cancer cells, the HGH would make them grow alot faster than normal rate. i think its legal coz some of opera singers use it to maintain their voice level.
3. Okay, here's the law: HGH is a prescription drug but is not on the federal list of controlled substances (found in 21 USC § 812(c)). Congress considered scheduling it along with steroids, but chose not to do so. What are the side effects of taking HGH? Just like any supplement, there are always possible side effects. Some possible but highly unlikely side effects found from using HGH are joint pain, fluid retention, an increase in blood pressure, headaches, and carpal tunnel syndrome.

The term "acromegaly" is used to describe a person with excess HGH later in life. Abraham Lincoln had this condition that results in abnormally large hands, jaw, ears, joints, and joint pain. HGH use can lead to more long-term complications such as high blood pressure, more serious fluid retention, chronic joint pain and swelling, and some facial bone growth. Long-term abuse, as seen in athletic use, can lead to more pronounced, and sometimes deadly, side effects such as irregular heart rhythms, increased risk of diabetes, joint and facial deformities, and a shut down of the pituitary gland. THESE SIDE EFFECTS ARE NOT REVERSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
5. Are u wanting to grow in Height? I know that HGH is only offered by prescription it usually contains IGF-1 which works in conjunction with HGH. There are some websites that state they offer this but it's usually an herbal form or generic type (No real results are noted on these so I wouldn't suggest them). If you are underage you'll need a parents permission if not ask your doctor about this he/she will probably run some tests to see whats best for you. Some forms are legal but hormones are only offered through a doctor prescription. Side effects differ depending on your health status, height problems usually stem from something else ex. kidney, liver or malnutrition prob. or maybe a deficiency in nutrients that enable growth.
