Does anyone know anything about HGH (human growth hormone)?

my dad started taking HGH from gintropin and has lost 20 lbs and feels great, i tried to research online but have not found out much. i think its illeagal, and dont know if it has any negitive side effects or long term effects, or if its safe or not. and how much it should cost? can anyone tell me anything that they know? thanks

1. Its a natural hormone that is produced by the body. Yes its illegal in most places. However people who use it moderately find that it makes them feel 10 years younger. In moderation it is generally ok. However bodybuilders who use it excessively gain a huge amount of mass in their muscles and also get a bloated look around their gut.
2. i know several people who've been on hgh for years. one man, who is in his 70's and looks like he's in his 50's...has been injecting himself with it for decades. he was getting it in mexico. it stopped his hairloss, and really--he looks great. one big concern is that there is a risk for tumors. he has to get checked up all the time for it. i know another woman who's been drinking a powder that contains it. she looks great, says it's done wonders for her health. i'm sure there are other side effects, but for sure--there is a concern for the growth of tumors. some people don't care, and decide they'll keep an eye on it...but there may be long - term effects we don't know about.
3. it has pros and cons. it puts you at a high risk of heart attack, organ damage, etc but it makes people look younger and gives them energy. some hollywood stars give themselves injection of this stuff. this is messing with your body endocrine system. it costs a lot, we are talking hundrets of dollars per injection and its couple of these in a month. its an expensive way to die....... tell your dad to stop.
