does HGH make you taller?

im about 6 foot tall. people say im plenty tall, but to excell at sports, i need to be atleast 6'4". does hgh really work? and my parents wont let me get it any way. how can i get it? how much does it cost?

I'm not sure what this has to do with our Computers & Internet category but I'll patronize you on this one. ;) You will want to talk to a physician (MD or naturopath with naturopath being more open-minded to alternative treatments to the mainstream treatments). HGH is a hormone and hormones are extremely powerful chemicals when they're in your body. Just remember, you don't get something for nothing. Get intelligent advice and don't just rely on internet research.
2. No. Human Growth Hormone HGH is referred to in medical science as the master hormone. It is very plentiful when we are young, but near the age of twenty-one our bodies begin to produce less of it. By the time we are forty nearly everyone is deficient in HGH, and at eighty our production has normally diminished at least 90-95%. It should not be used unless you are over 30 years old!!!!!!!!!! After you turn 30 then you can buy it at any GNC and if you buy it, buy ONLY the oral spray, the pills don't work.
3. It's very expensive and requires daily injections. Insurance companies will not cover the cost, especially if it is not deemed necessary for one's health and well-being. Too, if your body is not deficient in growth hormone production, more will not be used by the body.
4. Confidence, determination, and practice make you "taller", "faster", "bigger", and "better". Learn to use what you were given by God or your genes (regardless of your beliefs) and you can excell at anything. Altering yourself to be "what you ARE NOT" is not only a disgrace to yourself (in my opinion), but also a disaster in waiting. Talk to your doctor... If he doesn't say the same, you need a new doctor! If you wish to research the "alternative" to altering yourself start with researching such individuals as Bruce Lee (a very small man by my standards- I'm a 6'-1", 250 lb. bodyguard) and expand your search to other athletes from there.
5. HGH is used on dwarfism condition not used on people who are short or tall people of normal proportion. It is very expensive process in the thousands of dollars.
