  1. Skin sunburn after the emergency care of sunburn and skin tanning depends on two factors : First, ultraviolet wavelengths. UVB-induced skin sunburn, and UVA-induced skin tanning. Second, and skin type. Some sun will occur after skin erythema reaction and the degree of pigmentation into collagen type : type IV skin is characterized by : Skin type I sunburn easily, never tan; Type 2 sunburn skin often than most people is not easy tanning; III skin sometimes sunburn, more prone to tanning; Ⅳ little sunburn skin, but tanning easily. Sunburn often in Ⅰ, Ⅱ 2-skin. Especially in spring and summer, children and women prone to sunburn. In a one-time longer ultraviolet radiation skin, After a few hours to more than 10 hours diffuse skin erythema (Shaiban), a bright red color, skin edema, There will be serious blisters. The next day in the sun after skin erythema reaction reached its peak, about a week erythema dissipated, and some litter and pigmentation, consciously skin burning pain, will be accompanied by serious systemic reactions, such as fever, headache, weakness, nausea and general malaise. even palpitations, delirium and shock. 2. yes it will go back, don't worry. but it needs time.
  3. yes, but you shouldn't peel it if it isn't ready, if it is red skin underneath it isn't ready, believe me.. it will save you alot of pain.
  4. Yes, it will go back to normal, but you will be miserable in the mean time!! Good luck!!
  5. dont worry, usually when u get a sunburn and it peels you either get your normal skin back or a tan. good thinking using lotion it helps. there are also some cooling lotions which will ease the pain. good luck w/ that sunburn!!!
  6. I once had second degree burns from the sun. It takes the skin a long time to completely heal. If you had first degree burns (a typical sunburn), your skin should return to normal. If you had second degree burns (blisters in the skin), your skin will probably return to its normal shade. It really depends upon the severity of the burns. My blisters were each over an inch in diameter and they covered my upper chest, shoulders, and upper back. I took weeks just to be able to wear a shirt without pain. That was thirty years ago. Now, I have no visible scars and my skin tones do not differ from where I was and where I was not burned. Your skin is damaged and the upper layers are dying. It does not matter how much moisturizer you apply; the dead skin will still peel off. Aloe vera gel with a topical analgesic (pain killer) will help you heal and help deaden the pain. Moisturizers will also help the damaged skin repair itself (and hide the peeling). However, your skin is going to peel if you had a significant 1st degree burn.
