  1. I think anti aging creams are a con. Just use a good moisturiser and that will help all skin.
  2. No its never too soon to take care of your skin and its a good idea as it might help your skin look younger for longer since prevention is better than a cure!
  3. You can't buy anti-aging products. You can't hold back the tide.
  4. No, the only problem with that is if you have oily skin or are prone to acne. the anti-aging products contain a lot of oil.
  5. You should watch out as the so called anti aging creams can be very greasy, and may cause you to break out.
  6. Yes You can. Your skin provides everything it needs for itself naturally. If you start using products early to help substitute for those then your body may stop making essential vitamins and minerals, and you will always need to use those creams to get the look you want.
  7. Yes if you use them too soon you will revert to being a fetus. Just kidding... I started using oil of olay ( a moisterizer) when I was 16 and people do not believe how old I am.
  8. The best possible thing you can do for your skin is to stay out of the sun and out of tanning beds.
  9. Yes, you should not use them before the age of 25. At 25 the skin is classed as mature you should start using them then to prevent or help the signs of ageing. Using them before 25 can have the opposite effect and be bad for your skin. You should always use products for your skin type.
  10. no, well depends on your body
  11. well, to be completely honest, anti-aging products don't really work and any effect is usually minimal and hardly noticeable. the best way to keep looking young is to avoid too much sun exposure and don't smoke. you will age regardless of how many creams and scrubs you use. nothing that you can get in the grocery store is particularly effective. if they were they'd cost more.
  12. No, I started using them when I was 55, I'm 73 as of yesterday and I look a day over 72!!!
  13. Yes, I did and my skin broke out big time. I went to see a dermatologist and she told me to stop using those products. They are too harsh. I read in a magazine that you shouldn't start to worry until you are 35. That's when you can start to use those products. Do you exfoliate once or twice a week? If you don't, then I highly recommend it because it makes my skin so soft and smooth. I have very sensitive skin. Most products make me break out anyway. I have oily skin too. But the exfoliator I use doesn't seem to bother me as long as I don't keep it on my skin for too long. The products do work but it takes time (months) for them to build up and the results are temporary. It's cheaper and less invasive than surgical procedures.
  14. it depends on what you mean too soon. The whole point is to prevent the situation not to have to avert it later on. So you can start and you should use anti aging products early enough. I think that the age of 25-26 is ideal. There are a lot of products for early/first lines that are not too heavy and work quite well. Of course if you are a teenager you only need a good cleansing facial soap and a cream that hydrates your skin properly. Plus, demake up ALWAYS.
  15. If you change your diet to remove red meats and include more fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. Drink organic fruit juices and pure bottled water you will look and feel better and stay healthier and younger looking when you are well past middle age and it is never too late to start, but it is better if you make it a good habit now.
  16. anti aging products should be used when 24/25 years old. before that age, get a moisturizer
  17. shouldn't be used by younger people it could irritate your skin. i guess if your skin can handle it then use them. my skin is so sensitive i can't use them and I'm 30. i found Dove and they have really good moisturizers. people can't believe i'm 30 i get 21 all the time. just use a really good moisturizer with SPF in it to protect your skin from the sun.
  18. Don't. Your skin will get used to them much earlier which means they will be less effective when you get older. Just use sun protection on your face, hands and neck and sun protection for your eyes. Drink water and try to eat better and supplement any vitamins you are missing by taking multivitamins. Anti- ageing vitamins are E and C. Take capsules and you can apply vitamin E on your face at night and eye cream. This will all help you stop aging quickly anyway so don't bother with anti ageing products. They all use these kinds of ingredients anyway. Also a survey was done on older women in their 50s who used rosehip oil on their faces for 8 weeks and their skin looked much better and they had less lines etc so you don't need all these brands. Natural items such as oils and minerals can help as well. Thats what I am doing when I am older. Also an older neighbour uses bio oil on her face every night and her skin looks very good. You are young know anyway so you don't need it. OIf after doing all this and you are getting into your thirties and then show signs of ageing otherwise just do all the above you won't need any of these products with big price tags. Also having a facial every other month helps.
  19. Hi im not too sure as when I was in Tesco I was looking with my mum at the anti aging range and the woman butted in and ask if it was for me, which is wasnt as It was quite a while ago, and I said no, then she came back and explain the reason why she asked me because if I was to use it and my skin being too young, I would end up with spots etc. But we all know skin changes, but I dont think we will need to start using anti ageing products till were around 25 or in our late 20's I know avon do good products for all the stages of aging from anti again products that you can use in ypu 20's up to once that are for use in your 50's. If you not noticing any fine lines yet then just looking after you skin making sure you moisturise and take care of it everyday and you should not age as quick. Ovioulsy the environment and what we do to our bodys like smoking or drinking will case the skin to age quicker, so maybe some people will need to use these type of products way in advance. But I suppose as long as your in you 20's anti again is fine to prevent wrinkles and then when we get wrinkles then we go onto the anti wrinkle creams,
  20. No you can't but don't expect miracles because it really doesn't happen I'm afraid - unfortunately!
  21. Well the only anti-aging cream that is proven to work is No7 Protect and Perfect at £16 a bottle. You can never use them too soon.
  22. No. It's never, ever too soon. For those who think it is a con, that's because they believe it will completely eliminate wrinkles and this is not true. There are benefits. No, it won't make you look 16, but they can/will help your skin.
  23. No! Please use. Haven't you seen people who said they were 25,30 but look 35,40? Because of free radical and because excessive contact with the sun we all need to moisturize our skin and replace fallen off dead skin cells. Also exercise and eat well Would you believe this lady is 64 years old? Check it out!http://www.emelina.com/
  24. Yes, you should start around age 25. Artistry has a line called "Time Defiance". I use the daily skin care system and my skin has never looked better! They also have other products like eye cream and a botox-substitute called "Derma Erase". Their products have been clinically proven to reduce wrinkles by anywhere from 40% to 80% (depending on the product). They aren't available in stores but I get mine at www.jewel.mychoices.biz
  25. no i use olay age-defy face masks and they're better than any others i've tried before and help to reduce spots and oiliness on my skin.
