Tattoo Removal by Deep100% strength TCA Peel?
does this work
Public Comments
- When yo find out if it works could you let me know. I did a bit of research on it, but I could not get myself to buy it.
- Not really. Lasers, dermabrasion, etc. will work to some degree, though, but will be more painful than getting the original tattoo. I've heard of white ink and lemon juice being tattooed in, but I'm not sure how well that works.
- It might fade it, but I haven't seen it totally remove ink. ever. It takes lots of application per day, and a long time for the stuff to start working. Your skin will peel and then you have to wait until you're healed before you apply it again. It's less expensive than lasers, but it's not going to get you the kid of removal a laser will. I've done both the peel and laser and neither one are pleasant. If the peel worked like the laser it would be great, but it doesn't remove everything like the laser did. You have to take into account how much a bottle of the peel is ($50), how much laser costs per visit ($400), and the size of your tattoo. If your tattoo is huge, you'd better start on your own with the peel and see how much you can fade it on your own. The prices listed are what I paid a dermatologist on the West Coast. This is where you can buy the peel:http://www.inkbusters.com/ Good luck.
- No, you will scar yourself. Go to a dermatologist who can remove it with a non-ablative laser. HTH : )
