Where to get Glycolic Acid peels?

I have some acne scars and uneven skin tone and someone suggest I get a glycolic acid peel. Are there any good over the counter ones for acne-prone skin or where could I get one done at, and what is an estimate of the cost? -Thanks :)

  1. Before you go the the extreme of putting your skin through that kind of stress (in addition to your wallet) I would suggest Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector or their Total Turnaround Radiance line. Your skin may simply need some good exfoliation. Not manual, a chemical exfoliant. If you visit your local counter the consultants can actually sit you down and explain all of the products that could benefit you. Also, their Acne Solutions line carries a treatment to help heal the spots from blemishes. I currently use the whole Acne Solutions product line and it is amazing.
  2. I had one scar on my face and got rid of it with 2 applications of Merle Norman Derma-Peel... It contains 10% Glycolic Acid and it is AWESOME !!! Its a 2 step program. I put it to the test and it really works.. I applied a really good dark sunless tanning lotion.. The next day, I tried everything in little patches to get it to come off.. nothing worked.. I did the Derma Peel, and WHAM ! the lotion and a bunch of dead skin came off... Its well worth the money. It cost me $50..and worth every penny.. Theres a ton of applications in it too... Good luck to you
