Chemical Peels for Acne?

Will chemical peels help with acne as well as acne scarring? I'm a little apprehensive. Thanks for your help!

1. I was wondering about that too. I HEARD it's too drastic unless the acne/scars are horrendous. If it's not too bad, then try microdermabrasion. Personally I'm trying a home regimen 1st and seeing how that goes. Also diet, water intake are a biggie. Hope that helps!

Chemical peels will work very little...the best thing for acne scarring is Laser Resurfacing (for the whole face is about $4,000) but it's worth it because in addition to getting rid of your acne scars, it will also work for anti-ageing because it gets rid of the epidermis (the top layer of the skin) completely but you will need 1 week recovery time...my 22 year old sister got it done because she had acne scars and it got rid of her scars and also made her skin very even, and younger looking (she looks like she's 16 after only 2 months of doing it....and your skin continues to improve after 6 months...my mom also got it done at the age of 52 last year and she looks like she is 38 because it got rid of all her uneven pigmantation due to sun damage and made her skin so even and glowing! (and no, my father is not a derm or a laser resurfacing person dude lol)
