Can chemical peels cause comedonal acne?
I had a dermaquest skin therapy TCA 7/2 professional peel. For pigmentation and now i get red spots and whiteheads. I have never had acne in my life but have oily skin could the chemical peel caused acne?. Hightest Stars For Best Answers

The peel combines trichloroacetic acid (7%) with salicylic acid (2%). The TCA 7/2 dissolves the top layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, which improves the overall skin texture and tone.
