Does doing weight affect growth hormone?

I am 5"5, and fairly lean, and want to start doing weight training in order to put on a few pounds. So if I do this, would the weight lifting and stuff have any affect on my Growth Hormone?

  1. Yes it does.... but only if you do too much with too heavy weights... for example... dont get 20 pound weight and start to curl them... instead get 10 pounds and do 10 reps...
  2. Lifting free weights helps your testorone and GH counts to get bigger. Do compound exercises and they will grow ;)
