Chemical Peels???

ok i have really horrible acne well not literally but ofcourse thats the way im goonna describe it..but its kinda bad and its been like this since i was a child and nothing works i was just wondering would a chemical peel work???and if it did would i HAVE to continue to get them like every month? is it at all possible for me to get like one and the whole problem be solved? what exactly is a chemical peel???what are they doing to my face????will it take a while to heal?? and im 17 by the way

1. I hear chemical peels are ok for older women, but apparently after having one, you are more prone to have skin cell damage especially when you are exposed to sun, so you actually have to avoid it.
2. Please try Tetracycline prescription first with a wonder facial cleanser for daily use, such as Neutrogena or the Mary Kay facial cleanser. It costs a fortune but it works great! A chemical peel will not cure acne. It will only minimize the scarring caused by really bad acne.
