How to stop my face from peeling?
Yesterday I went to the beach and even though I wore SPF 30 my face still got really sunburned. It is now starting to bubble and so I figure it is going to start peeling soon. Is there anyway to speed the process and make it not look as bad. I dont really want to walk around with my whole face peeling for very long. Please help!!!

- apply vaseline all over it and lotion that can moisturize 24/7.
- Now it's going to hurt, but try this: Just wash your face a lot. Morning, night, sometime during the day. Try using an exfoliating scrub, that'll help it peel quicker.
- Aloe, Aloe and more aloe
- Aloe, and stay out of the sun. The damage that has been done cannot be undone. You can just speed up the healing and stop futher damage. Keep your skin clean and moist!
- i recommend that use potato. once mix potato and attach on face. it's a way to calm of your face pain.
- If you get a sunburn take Aspirin ASAP. Within a couple of hours your sunburn will turn into a beautiful tan. Sounds crazy but it really works! Be sure to use a good moisturizer after you shower and avoid your loofah!!! Stick with a soft washcloth until your skin is no longer "crinkly." Not a very scientific term, I admit, but if you've ever had peeling skin you know what I mean. DO NOT SCRUB OR OVER-AGITATE YOUR SKIN! It is vvveeerrryyy DELICATE!!! If your skin is peeling opt for a sugar/salt scrub (you can pick one up in the cosmetics department of any drugstore). The scrub will make the peeling worse at first but after a couple of scrubs your skin will be baby smooth. And stay hydrated! and keep out of the sun/tanning beds for a little while. Gatorade, water, juice; NO ALCOHOL!!!
- Make sure to reapply sunscreen often. Some require you to do it every hour. In the mean time try some aloe on your face to take out the burn. Moisturize frequently with a mild lotion. Don't scrub or pick at the peel.
- Use a deep moisturizer, I used olay when my shoulders got sunburned it really took away the peeling and moisturized well.
- wear even more sunscreen and MAKE SURE it dries. if you dont let it burn it wont peel. so as in bubble are you getting like blisters? if it stings or hurts you can put on aloe vera. it feels good. :)
- SPF 30 only works for about half an hour. You have to continue to apply sunscreen throughout your trip to the beach. The bubbles on your face are prob water blisters. I had them on my shoulders. My mom poked a hole in them and drained the water out but I later ripped them all off and I found they healed much faster. But beware, it may cause scarring. My shoulders look fine, good as new, but it's your face... If you find your face, or where ever else you got burned, starts to ich, put a cold cloth, or ice on it and try not to scratch. (This has happened to me before. It's annoying as hell. But the cold will help).
- do not put vasoline! lol geeze, exfoilate your face it may hurt a little since you're burnt but its the only way to get the dead skin off, moisturizing wont help b/c the skin is already dead.
- my nose got sunburned and i put moisturizer on it, the L'oreal one that hydrates your skin, i think it is helping :) xx
