- yes, it's the "skin" you can use a cheese grater be sure not to get any of the white stuff, cause that's bitter and nasty tasting.
- Yes it is the skin and zest of the lemon...you can use a chesse grater OR you can use a potato peeler OR you can just take a knfe, remove the skin and then cut very thing pieces
- blend the lemon peels with a little water
- It means that you need to finely grate the outside peel (yellow) of the lemon.
- yes, peel is the skin or zest of the lemon. it contains a whole lot of flavor. Take the skin and either grate it onto a rasp or microplane (avoid getting white stuff; turn often) or just cut off skin (avoid white) and chop finely in a food processor or blender, w/ a bit of sugar.
- Actually it is called zest it is the yellow part of the lemon peel. A potato peeler or a very sharp knife with a short blade are used to remove the zest
- The skin of lemons.
- It is literally the skin of the lemon. You can just use a cheese grater to grate it. I've done it before.
- yes. its theskin, you can use the small side of yourgrater, or if you have a foodprocessor, carefully slice off just the coloured part of the peel, leaving the white alone, and whurr it in theprocessor for a few seconds, until to looks like course salt.. Yopu could also score it with a sharp fork until you get enough but that takes quite a long time If you don't haveany lemon zest( grated peel) you don't really need it but your baking will taste bland
- peelings off lemons - you grate them !
