How old do you have to be to get a chemical face peel?

Hi I was just wondering how old do you have to be to get a chemical face peel??? my niece wanted to get one. My nice wants to get one she has tryed every single acne product but none of them work.She wants to get one for this hudge event at her school. 1. there's no real age requirement. it more depends on the skins condition. if she has scaring or uneven skin tone, i would say go for it! If there is no condition that she's trying address I suggest holding off and sticking to getting balancing facials regularly. unnecessarily exposing skin to those kind of more invasive treatments you run the risk of conditioning your skin not to be self-reliant. If she is concerned with the scaring from the acne then a chemical peel is a great option, she will have to have a series done in order to see results. Make sure that after her treatments she follows up with a good skin regimen, and most importantly SPF. I don't know what she's using now, but Bioelements (bioelements.com) has an aw some acne line.
