Chemical Peels???

Can someone tell me, what Chemical Peels are used for? How much they cost? and do they Work? Do they get rid of Acne Scarring and Acne? Thanks

1. hey i used to get chemical peals at my dermatologist, yeah they remove all those things if you do it weekly. they cost $50
2. Chemical peels are used to get rid of the first layers of skin ! They can help acne marks alot ! If there on the surface. Well it just depends on the type of chemical peel some take off alot of skin other dont take of as much . But make sure if you get one that you ask if it will take away your pigment ! Because the old type of peels do that
3. yes they work... and one chemical peel probably runs about 100.00... but you need to get more than one to really notice a big difference... but even after the first one you will notice your skin glows more and is smoother.. they do help some with scars but for deep scars you would need to get laser resurfacing which is more than the chemical peels...
4. I do them myself, they work great... I just started a couple weeks ago and my scars look amazing. I bought the solutions online, look up home solutions online and make sure your buying a 50 proof or less... but you can delut it yourself as needed. They dont sell the harsh ones to home doers, so if you want a deep peel you will have to go get it done, but my minor scars the regular stuff worked great. Id tell you the brand but I dont have the bottles with me nore did I buy them here... they wrre in a deep blue bottle though.... hope I was of some help....
