  1. I don't know how good they are in terms of anti-aging, but most multi vitamins are great for the skin and more importantly, for your overall health. Most diets do not include all the vitamins and minerals your body needs on a daily basis. Every doctor I've ever known has always recommended a good one-a-day multi supplement for overall good health. Continue to take your One A Day's, but don't expect miracles. One pill can't be responsible for replacing a healthy diet, and lifestyle.
  2. These look great. But, try this test. Put the vitamin pill in a glass of water and make sure it dissolves within 30 minutes. If it doesn't, then your body will not be processing any of it. Best to also eat lots of fruits and vegetables 8-10 servings a day to get these vitamins naturally as well. Your body reacts much more positively to this source. Good luck!
  3. Based on recent studies, vitamins are not that effective. I would look into putting your money into purchasing fresh foods that contain the vitamins you are looking for. In addition to your body more effectively processing the vitamins, you should be able to maintain better health due to the improved diet.
  4. If you are on a well rounded diet, then I would say yes you are. If your diet contains lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and cheeses, and cut down or out the red meats, you will be doing good. Also, if you want to keep things looking good, drink lots of water and exercise, those two things will keep your body in tip top shape by moving the wastes through your body rather than letting them accumulate in places where they will hamper other body functions. If you look back 150 years ago when the pioneers were crossing the land, they were on that trail for up to six months, and they never worried about vitamins. The worst thing they had to worry about is sickness. something we can't escape, but other than that they seemed in good health. Doesn't that make you question why we are a society of pill poppers? It's interesting that these pills started showing up on shelves around the same time we started spending billions on processed foods. See some kind of link there?
  5. I take vitamins for mood my doctor doesn't recommend I take a multi-vitamin because a lot of it just will pass through your system and not be absorbed. the vitamins I take are Vitamin D - 3000iu a day. ( I live in wis.) Vitamin B complex- 100 Folic Acid- 800mcg Calcium 1200mg a day Magnesium 400 mg a day The best way to get all these nutrients is to eat mostly vegetables and fruits. Your body can best absorb nutrients that way first. Being a woman, I would definitely stick with the magnesium, iron, zinc, calcium, and vitamin D. These absorb the best when taken together. And use lots of moisturizer and wear sunscreen, and do light exericise daily.
