tea bags for dark circles, please help?
I just noticed some dark circles around my eyes, I've never noticed them before until this morning. They're not that bad, but I think the area is starting to get dark. I'm 21, a very healthy person, but I have sleeping problems nowadays. I haven't slept last night, and I have drunk 3 cups of strong red tea last night. I also have been drinking a lot of coffee lately... I heard taht caffine is one of the causes. Oh, I also accidently applied an acid gel below my eyes, it happened by mistake twice while I was trying to apply it on my face... I didn't get that close to my eyes though, but I woke up the next morning with puffy eyes, used tea bags and the puffs disappeard. I'm freaking out about this, dark circles is the last thing i need! Ok, my question is: Should I apply warm tea bags or cold ones? Can I use tea bags on top of the eye cream or should I was the cream before applying the tea bags??

- Grab a cucumber out of the fridge. Cucumber oils are fantastic for your skin, and if it's cold, it works a treat to get rid of those ugly circles. Cut off a few pieces. You don't need them to be more than 1/4" thick. I would cut off more than two, because the slices tend to get warm, and I also like to eat them ;) Put them on your eyes, and wait. Just leave them there for 10-20 minutes, depending on your skin, and after a little while, they will be a lot lighter, if not gone. Increase bloodflow in your face. There are many ways for boosting your skin tone and tightness but the key to have a nice plump skin is to have it well irrigated, as this dimishes the amounts of toxins in it, and brings oxygen to have a generally better skin quality. To achieve a better bloodflow in your face (hence drastically diminishing the dark, sloppy skin under your eyes) you can: - Engage in cardiovascular activities. Running, jogging, cycling...chose your favorite one! Remember team sports are best to keep cardio fun! This will also reduce the excess fat you may have on your face, eliminating the "uneven" parts of it. - Bathe your skin daily in warm water. Fill your sink and plunge your face in the water for at least 20 seconds. You will start to feel your nose and lips, this is when it starts to be effective. Repeat 5 times. "Warm" should be just a tad warmer than the hottest you would comfortably take a shower in. This will force your skin to develop, or re-develop, your facial capillaries, evenly throughout your face. It's good to take a little bite out of the slices first, so that the cucumber slices don't actually go over your eyes, because the juices always get into them and it hurts. Don't forget to wash your face, or, if you're doing a masque that day, after the cucumbers. This'll take the sticky away, and helps the darkness fade. This technique may not work for everyone. If you try it, and it doesn't work, don't be afraid to try other things, like cold spoons, or tea bags. Don't eat as much sugar. Sugar (including bread and fats, but it's okay to eat fruit) causes darker circles.
- Try out this under eye potato pack. Mix together half a grated potato with one teaspoon each of lemon juice, fresh cream and fuller’s earth. Apply this paste gently on the eyes for around 15 minutes. This is effective in reducing dark circles. Want to know more about such natural remedies for the skin ? Refer to site mentioned below
