Can chemical peels cause comedonal acne?

I had a dermaquest skin therapy TCA 7/2 professional peel. For pigmentation and now i get red spots and whiteheads. I have never had acne in my life but have oily skin could the chemical peel caused acne?. Hightest Stars For Best Answers
