How do I keep my face from peeling!?

I've been tanning about 4 times a week in tanning beds with my roommate, I don't use any tanning lotion or anything like that beforehand, but I do put normal lotion on my face afterwards. After about 2 days of tanning though my face starts peeling really badly on my forehead mainly. Nothing else on me peels just my face; what can I do about it?? I didn't ask what it would do to my skin, I'm not stupid I know the risks; stick to the original question and stop judging; it's going to kill me, not you; thanks.

  2. Maybe You Should Just Stop Tanning ? Or stop tanning almost everyday. Its Not Good For Your Skin. ESPECIALLY 4 times a week.
  3. Tanning beds are far more powerful than the sun's rays. It's absolutely awful. It can give you cancer, sun spots, and wrinkles. Your face is peeling because you've literally killed it. The top layer is dead and has to slough off. Exfoliation may work for typical peeling, but for tanning it'll probably just irritate your skin even more. You need to stop tanning, before you get addicted.
  4. mousterize everyday!!
  5. Try exfoliating after. Use like a good facial scrub a few hours after you tan. When you tan it is burning or "toasting" your skin cells. Which in essence is making more dead skin cells than the average person so you peel. Exfoliating will eliminate those dead skin cells and leave you with clearer skin if done regularly. If later down the road you do find that your body peels too try getting a body exfoliater they have some great one's at bath and body works. Good luck! :)
