Chemical peels and accutane?!?

So I've been off Accutane for two months now. And I have a lot of red spots and mild scars that I would like to get rid of with a chemical peel. And supposedly your suppose to wait 6 months after taking accutane to get any treatments done to your face. But I also read on Web Md that you can get superficial chemical peels while on accutane. So my question is can I go get a superficial chemical peel done even though I've only been off accutane for two months? And if I did what are the chances of scarring from that?

1. If you want to be on the safe side then the answer to your question is that you should wait until the recommended time interval has elapsed. Chemical peels come with their own adverse effects like inflammation and causing new PERMANENT scars. These adverse effects are not very common but the risk is there nonetheless. I hope this helps.
