Growth hormone for weight loss?

Locally there's a place that offers growth hormones thru injection to promote weight loss. Anyone heard of this? Seems dangerous to me, but many folks are doing it.

1. Sounds very unwise actually. I'd question the safety of doing that or if the place is actually using growth hormone. Sad to see some people/companies preying on the desperation of others.
2. When I was much younger, there was a place that was injecting cows urine. That neither worked nor lasted. Thing is, if they are actually injecting human growth hormone, they're violating the law unless they are doctors. And if they're doctors and they don't care about the damage they are doing, they're gonna get sued!
3. The hormone sounds risky to me. Remember that the absolute best way to lose weight is eating healthily and in moderation, and getting enough excercise in the day. It's surprising how fast you can trim your waistline by taking those simple steps. I wouldn't trust growth hormones, as there can be unpleasant and sometimes serious side effects--you never know how your body will react. good luck.
