Questions about eye liner?

Do you prefer pencil, cream, or liquid eye liner? Which of these would be best for a beginner? I have brown eyes (I would say a medium brown because they aren't really dark but at the same time they aren't super light either) so what would be a good color to buy? Do you have any special tricks or tips? Do you line both your top and bottom, just the top, or just the bottom of your eye? Where can you buy a soft pencil at a rather low cost?

2. i prefer a nice and soft creamy pencil its the easiest to get the most color out of, liquid is the hardest, it took me forever to draw a straight line and if you line your bottom it might make you look like a raccoon

4. since you're a beginner NO LIQUIDS OR CREMES. pencil all the way, brown eyes, you should use a really subtle brown/gold eyeliner pencil. I recomend Styli-Style it's great. Once you get better go with liquid, you need to make you sure though you know what you're doing it can harm your eyes retna if you misuse a liquid, and save creme for later, it's hard to get off once it's there, so you should be fully confident before using a creme. 5. i like pencils. i use a brown retractable pencil on the top and a black kohl pencil in the inner rims ♥
6. I prefer pencil, and I also only normally put it on the bottom. Black or a dark brown would be good but right now white eyeliner is very in. I know it sounds weird but it really brings out your eyes and looks really good. Put it in the corners too. Hope this helps!!!
7. I prefer the liquid liner only on the top to give the eyes a cat look; similar to angelina jolie's. Since you're a beginner I would recommend the eye pencil (dark brown) only on the top, if u feel like your eyes are puffy or tired looking, you can do line on the bottom of the eyes as well to draw the attention to the eyes. Once you get used to the pencil, switch to the liquid liner, its harder to apply but usually does not smudge and is darker.

9. In my opinion for beginners (including me) I use cream and pencil. The cream liner I use it on the top (don't use liquid or cream on you waterline) and the pencil liner on the bottom. You can use a pencil liner on top and on bottom of you eye. Make sure you buy a water proof pencil liner or ophthalmology tested for you waterline. Tricks or tips use short strokes when lining. Choosing colors it all depends, that's a choice you make. 10. The best colour for your eye colour is the black and don`t be afraid to use the darkest. The pencil is what you can put on inside your waterline and on top of the upper lash line and it`s smudgeable. For the black pencils: SHISEIDO is the blackest eye pencil and liquid liner I`ve ever used. GIVENCHY eye pencil is a truly black one too. GUERLAIN the new KOHL in black is sooo black and has a dry smudge proof texture. REVLON classic black pencil is pitch black. MAC has a one shot limited edition eye pencil called FELINE, look for it even on ebay.com and if you find it buy it, it`s worth it. MAC has an other one shot limited eye pencil called BLACK FUNK, the only thing is that it doesn`t come by itself, it comes in a box that includes 4 other coloured eye pencils. BLACK FUNK has a creamy texture, it`s ok if you buy the entire box because in this case you can mix & match and experiment with different colours, you can put on the black and on top of it you put on a pink pencil, to have a pinkish black eye effect, and any other coloured pencil, not necessarily pink. MAC has a marvelous liquid eye liner called BOOT BLACK, and it has a wonderful cream liner called BLACKTRACK, MAKE-UP FOREVER PROFESSIONAL has SMOKEY LASH, it`s the blackest mascara you can ever find, wear it with the blackest eye pencil that you can find from what I mentioned to you.
