Do you use orange peel first or primer first on the walls?
I removed wallpaper from my walls and now they need to be retextured and primed so that I can paint them. Do I retexture them with the "orange peel" first or do I put the primer on the walls first and THEN texture them?

- retextrue frist, primer is just a layer of paint to smoothen out the walls perfectly, its very thin, so u have to textrue, apply the primer and sand with the finest paper u could find, then your ready to paint
- prime wall first let dry texture let dry then paint if prime after texture you take some of the texture away with the primer coat you still have to paint
- I would prim the walls first.if there is any left over paper it will bubble and you need to get it off prior to doing rhe texture.i like to add paint to the mud when l texture.i think it makes for a better wall..hope this helps
