are orange peels extremely flammable?

2. not normally. however if you immerse a piece in liquid oxygen for a few seconds until it is rock solid, when you take it out and set fire to it, it will burn like crazy!
3. When removed from the fruit, they do contain a high amount of water. Fresh orange peels are not very flammable because of this water. However, allow the peel to air dry (without heat) and the hard resulting peel will contain very little water and a high percentage of orange oil. This oil is highly flammable and the dried peel will burn very well.
