Are banana peels, orange peels, and apple cores considered litter if you toss them out your car window?

I'm going to say yes, butt, yeah butt, people throw butts out the window all the time and that seems acceptable.

8. While they are organic matter the law isn't always very definitive so most items ejected from a car are considered litter. Move to Tennessee. You can throw old car engines out & you would never get arrested.
9. It depends. If you throw them onto a paved road, yes. If you throw them in the grass, no. Things will eat them and/or they will break down. Cigarette butts are litter! I spent several hours cleaning those off of a road once. Yes, I picked up butts on the highway.
10. Anything thrown out you window is considered littering becasue anything thrown out your moving vehicles window can potentially harm a pedestrian or other driver, though I doubt a cig butt could, but they do start many fires every year. Be careful..
