- compost them
- COMPOST !!!!!
- I'm with the two above. Time for the compost. I've never heard of them being used for anything
- throw them away
- I cut mine up even the core and buy a jug of white vinegar, and steep them for a week or 2 in a glass jar, then pour of the vinegar and use it in marinates or salad dressings, like papaya the natural enzyme help tenderize meat and poultry. I was a chef for over 20+ years and learned this trick while working in Singapore, it is even nice in a fruit salad to add zing to the sugar in the salad, and in Thailand they eat spears of pineapple with chili powder on them like american posickles. Even a drop in a curry or added to a BBQ sauce, it is like this balsamic vinegar craze the last few years, at one time it was not known out side of Moderan Italy were it is made.
- I toss them on the compost pile, or give them to my brother-in-law who feeds them to his sheep and goats.
- I cut them up and use them for mulch on the little planter I have outside my dorm window.
- compost
