If you have a dark complexion, what is the best treatment for clearing up scars? Do acid peels work?

Did you ever try microderm? How did it work for you? What other treatments do they have for clearing up blemishes? I tried microderm for a couple of months, but I didn't think it worked. Do they have acid peels that will work?

1. Im not sure about acid peels but if you have a dark complextion dont ever use anything with benzoyl peroxide(treatment for blemishes) or hydroquine(treatment for uneven skintone or scars), it will lighten your skin unevenly and leave you with light blotches.

3. Try Neutrogena Visibly Even Skin Polishing Enzyme Treatment and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer. They work wonders! Both help rid dark skin of acne marks, scars, etc. Also Principal Secret by Victoria Principal has a product called: PRINCIPAL SECRET ADVANCED GENTLE ENZYME TREATMENT. This is a mask that is active right out the jar! Then after 15 mintues, you add water so that you deactivate the enymes. Rinse and you're done! You should see results in 1 months if you use mask once a week. Try it!
4. I've been having professional and at-home microderma for 3 years now and i know a lot about how this procedure works and why. first of all, chemical peels are not suited for dark complexions, because they may cause permanent scarring and discolorations. microderma on the other hand is safe for all skin types. it worked for me. it made my lines less visible, vanished a few acne scars, made my age spots go away and my pores smaller. you need to have at least 6 microderma sessions for good results. hope this helps.
