  1. Ahh! Summertime has hit, I had the same problem last week. It's not harmful to your skin to peel it off, so peel off what you can. The rest keep moisturized with any type of lotion until it goes away. It's also good if you usually wear base or any type of foundation, to not put it on while you are peeling because it puts crevices in your face where the skin is coming off.
  2. You don't really want it to peel. It's bad for your skin because it is your upper layer of skin being teared away from your face because it was burned. Keep it moisturized. Put aloe and/or lotion with aloe on it. You don't want it to peel! And don't help it along by picking at it. It should be done in another few days.
  3. If you get a soft pad that is foamy and not wet. Then rub very lightly it will come off. IF it doesn't just do that twice a day for three days,
  4. You should any time you get any kind of a burn, cool it off with cold water. For a bad sunburn get in a shower and adjust water to body temp. and then slowly remove the warm water and add colder water. After you get to the cold water stand in the shower for a good 15 to 20 minutes and take the heat out of the burn.
  5. im having the same problem rite now on my shoulders, be sure to keep aloe and lotion on it alot and, i jst took a shower and scrubbed my shoulders w/ a spongie thing and it seemed to help get rid of the dead skin, I've been peeling it off and it hasnt hurt me yet, so i hope this helps u!!
  6. Peeling the skin off won't hurt regardless of what other people say, your skin sluffs off every single day. The first layer of skin has obviously been burnt and needs to come off. By peeling it your just helping it along. First of all take a shower to moisten your skin, when you get off GENTLY take dry washcloth and rub in circular motions across the skin that is peeling. This should help remiove most of the dead skin.
  7. I use Johnson's Baby Oil gel. I don't know that it really helps your skin, but it prevents your skin from "looking" like it's peeling. After you rub in a layer of it and let it soak in for about 15 minutes, don't wash it off. Instead, use toilet paper or something just to get it off of the surface of your skin.
