- I don't really have much knowledge about this, but I would be careful with African American skin. Talk to a dermatologist about what would benefit you.
- PROACTIV IT REALLY WORKS IT'S @ UR LOCAL MALL
- I would do a microdermabrasion. Chemical peels tend to make the skin look "more raw" for longer and the tend to irritate the skin more often. Or try the at home combo by Olay....the link with info is below. ou can buy it at supercenters and drugstores.
- skin lightening products give you the microdermabrasion effect and will peel off the outermost old skin layer to resurface afresher lightened skin.. just make sure you choose products without hydroquinone, mercury or steroids because these can harm your skin.. wear sunscreen to prevent further darkening, and as an option, take vit. C 500 mg everyday to enhance skin lightening and suppleness.. this will give a rosy glow.. i've done it :-) here's agood source of safe and potent skin lighteners -
- Hi there, For darker skin tones, the only safe resurfacing procedure is microdermabrasion. With chemical peels, you risk having your skin severely scarred or with uneven color patches. Unfortunately, microderma needs at least 6 sessions schedules 2 weeks apart. you don't have enough time to look your best until august 10. but you can still have 2 sessions, they will help you better. good luck.
