is an acid or chemical peel good for a burn?

i burned my face wit a curling iron about 3 weeks ago. it left a differnet color on my face now. the place where the burn is whiter than my actual skin tone. the place where i burned it is on my forehead. i was wondering would a acid or chemicl peel be good to remove it? btw are acid and chemical peels the same? and if they are not which is better for my situation? i want to remove the mark that it left on my forehead.

Look, I got the worst burn possible on my leg, and I dont want to explain but dont do chemical anything and make sure that you dont peel and blisters off or touch it, i almost died of infection on my leg because i got some dirt on it from bmx ing, so take it easy. sorry i think it was 3rd or something on my leg. but use burn patches, they are liquid but the cool it down. and also wrap a bandage on it and put medical tape on it, those burn patches rub off so easy! so ya thats all ig ot for ya and it hurts i know, and i had to go through that for a year but like 10x worse for what you got right now! dont worry yours doesnt sounds that bad you should be fine
2. Acid is a chemical peel. Such as glycolic, salicylic acid, etc. Once the burn is healed, you can start treatment. Never do a chemical peel by yourself. I would suggest going to a clinical aesthetician. Micro and chemical peels alternating are the best treatments for scars. Also, have your aesthetician put you on an at home treatment such as hydroquinone or kojic acid in a cream or serum. To help reduce the Hyperpigmentation.
