i have a dark pigmentation around and beneath my eyes . can laser treatment solve my problem?

i have been to a dermatologist and she says its hereditary and the pigmentation is deep .. but i heard that the laser treatments are very effective .. can anybody help me out ... i jus wanna clear it off thro' some means . if any treatment other than laser plz let me know ... ( the dr said glycolic peels will nt work out 4 me ) .. plz do reply ....

2. don't get laser treatment.. i give a simple home remedy.. 1) dip a small ball like cotton in cold milk and just spread it in ur eye lids for half an hour (do this for a month)\ or 2)dip a cotton in cold tea decotion and keep it ur eyelid for a same time.. or 3) apply natural coconut cream daily around ur eyes ..it definetly clears the dark.. (put a coconut in the juice extract and take the thick coconut milk, if u boil this it give some cream in the upper. that s a coconut cream , just cool it , then apply) try this for a month.. don't worry friend..
