Any ideas to peel sunburnt skin off faster ?
I had a sun burn and the skin on my face starts peeling. Now, there is some patches of lighter skin and some patches of darker skin. How do i make the skin peel faster ?

- take awashcloth and rub it agents the burn, it comes of and doesnt hurt
- use a gentle cleanser like one with beads in it st ives apricot scrup is good it gets rid of all the flakyness
- sometimes when its on my face, i get tweezers and rip it off. but then i get pink spots and look retarded, so just do what the girl before me said to do hahaha
- Try not to peel the sunburn off especially off your face. It can leave damage. I have sunspots all over my face from doing that. If it is noticable that you have patches of different color skin, try using make up to cover it up. It will probably heal much faster and better if you don't peel it off.
- Exfoliate. Soak in a nice warm bath and use an exfoliating scrub. Or make you own scrub with honey & brown sugar. Use soft circular motions.
- vaseline
- What ever you don't use St Yves Apricot Scrub! That will just damage your skin more.
- Do not wash or exfoliate you face more than normal and do not peel! This will dry out the skin even more and cause you even more skin problems down the line. Use aloe on any of the burnt areas, it will lock in moisture and infuse your skin with nutrients. Let the excess skin fall away naturally. Remember that every time you burn your skin you are causing permanent damage.
- Since your skin is probably very sensitive, don't apply anything harsh, such as scrubs. Just apply some pure aloe vera gel--like Aloe Life brand (not the cheap bright green stuff) and let your face peel on its own. You could damage your complexion if you physically peel off your skin. Be patient and take care!
- moisturize !!
- DO NTO EVER PEEL IT OFF!!!!!! I URGE YOU NOT TO, MY SISTER GOT BURNT SO BAD THAT SHE WAS PEELING SHEETS OF SKIN OFF HER CHEST....BAD THING SHE DID, NOW SHE HAS PERMANENT SCARS ALL OVER....DO NOT PEEL OFF...LETT IT FALL OFF.!!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK HIGHER SKIN CANCER AND SCARS.....
- Don't peel, just moisturize the heck out of it. Also, I'm sure you know, that burning is horrible for your skin so if you want any kind of good looking skin the future (i.e. without wrinkles, sun spots, etc.) start a routine which includes sunscreen (SPF 15 and above).
- You should let the skin naturally peel off. If you want to speed up the process use a sensitive facial scrub to exfoliate. You want the scrub to be gentle because you dont want to damage the skin on your face as it is gentle. Good luck!
- Let the blistered skin come off naturally. When the skin underneath has grown sufficiently, the new skin will puch off the old. You will damage your facial skin if you pull off the old skin down into the "quick" plus it will hurt a lot.. Use super emollient creams. Why did your skin blister in the first place? Are you not using sufficient sun protection? this will make you look old very fast and cause wrinkles early in life.
