The skin around my nose peels and my face is red and dry, but I get zits?

What is it and how to make it go away?

1. get a moisturize-ey acne thingy medicine.
2. You're probably over drying your face, causing your glands to produce excess oil to compensate. Cut back on the amount of junk you're using to clean your face. Switch to a hypoallergenic formula and only use one cleaner a day. Don't use zit cream until this clears up. Might be cold weather related as well.

My son had that red/dry around the nose & tried a bunch of stuff even prescription stuff and nothing happened- this went on for MONTHS...and finally we tried "bag balm" (it comes in a square green tin- ask at Walgreens) and it went away completely in 48hrs. He is so happy too because picture day is coming up.

5. Maybe sensitive skin. Try cleansers made for sensitive, problem prone skin; I use Spectro Jel for sensitve skin which is soap and fragrance free. I also use a moisturizer made for sensitive skin, it has no fragrance. I used to have the same problem, my cheeks and nose would get red and appear dry. I was putting on a lot of moisturizer on my face throughout the day, but it wasn't getting any better. I get acne as well. Asked someone about it and they suggested that I have sensitive skin. Within a week of using gentle stuff on my face problem was solved!!!

This is due to small blood vessels of the face becoming enlarged and showing through the skin. These red lines usually appear on the cheeks—especially when the overall redness diminishes. Bumps on Nose Nasal bumps, a condition called rhinophyma (rye-no-feye-muh), are an uncommon sign seen especially in untreated rosacea. Men are more likely to experience the small, knobby bumps on the nose, and as the number of bumps increases, the nose and cheeks may appear swollen. Facial Burning, Stinging or Itching A 2002 survey conducted by the National Rosacea Society indicated that some people who have rosacea suffer physical symptoms, such as facial burning, stinging or itching.

8. Sun-burn!!!! when you don`t apply any sun-screen in hot places you will turn red and try and peel like a flaky cerial! and zits no prob! get proactive!!!! it zaps zits! but avoid make-up,lotions,and face masks,But use proactive 4 the zits not 4 the flacky ness!
