What is the difference in face cream and regular lotion?

Is there something in face cream that is better than regular unsented lotion that I can put on my face?

2. I believe face creams are thicker than lotion with less oil in them
3. Nothing. They are products designed to make you spend more money and make the corporations richer, and experiment on animals.
4. Moisturizer for the face is meant to reduce the signs of aging. Moisturizing lotion is heavier and meant to soften the skin. Never use lotion on your face. It can clog your pores and cause break-outs (acne).

(hand) lotions are designed to "quick dry" which means they contain alcohol - not good to put alcohol on your face. be aware that advertisers cater to our lack of knowledge in this field and will boast the reduction of wrinkles and youthful looks... trust your dermatologist. stay out of the sun, and use sunscreens, wear a hat if planning a trip to the beach, stay away from tanning booths and use whatever moisturizing product feels natural on your face.
