A Norton Security (my Norton is the latest 2008 version, I've had no problem whatsoever with it or my internet browsing) warning prompted me to ignore these websites because the security threat was low but I allowed a couple of those websites to use my "DNS server" something even though I didn't know what the websites were up to. There seems to be no virus, my pc is acting fine and last time I fully scanned my PC and there was no virus. I think I remember a couple times before the full scan, Norton warning popped up saying that it found a high security threat and it blocked it so my PC is safe. Now, every now and then, I'm getting harmless pop-up windows with adverts, sometimes I hear an advert voice speak out of nowhere (of course through my speakers). The frequency of their appearance is about once in many hours so what I do is I just close the pop-up window but it’s kind of annoying since I never had them before. How do I take back that access that I mistakenly gave to these websites? How do I solve this problem? 1. Well you could e-mail it to everyone you know, I am sure they would love it. Put a copy on Yahoo answers, oh sorry you already did, and keep one for yourself. You never know when you might need one. Alternatively trash it which sounds favourite to me.
