I am 18 and I am starting a anti age face care regime, it is by Wei East, and it has a face wash, toner, 2 face serums, and 2 eye things, It supposed to be all natural and ive just started 3 hours ago and I can already tell im breaking out. I really dont wanna stop my regimen, it was expensive, what can I do?! I know wash my face with a regular acne wash but that never works, what can i do?

  1. theres nothing you can do, you must be allergic to the ingredients in the products. just because its all-natural, it doesnt mean you cant be allergic. if you are only 18 you really dont need to start an anti-aging regime, it is reccomended you start at around 25. if you really want to use anti-aging products, here is some advice: most anti-aging products are formulated for mature skin, which tends to be drier and thinner, they often can be too heavy for younger people with active oil glands. look for oil-free moisturizers or lightweight gels and serums. another tip is to wear sunscreen religiously. if you're not wearing sunscreen every day, there is little that anti-aging products can do for your skin. If you use a moisturizer in the morning, it's important to choose one with built-in sun protection; otherwise, applying sunscreen over a moisturizer can dilute the SPF by half. hope this helps, good luck : )
  2. I use clean and clears continous acne wash. It comes in a light/dark purple tube and contains benzoyl peroxide as its active ingredient. Ive battled acne for many years (ever since I was 14 and i'm 22 now) I used tons of different products for many years and none have been as effective as this benzoyl peroxide wash. I completely eliminated the use of "Salicycic Acid" (it seemed to break me out more) and went to an entire "Benzoyl Peroxide" regimen. I used to get very bad breakouts along my chin and on my upper sides of my cheeks. Once one cycle of breakouts would end a new one would start. They were usually big whiteheads, but I would also get the occassional huge zit underneath the surface (those really suck) However, after I started this new regimen it's been about a year now and my skin has dramatically improved and I very rarely have acne now. My first step is to remove all my makeup with "clean and clear" foaming makeup wash. If you dont wear makeup, clearly this step is skipped After, I use clean and clear continuos control on a semi wet face and wash for 20 seconds using circular motions, paying close attention to "trouble zones" I follow up with neutrogenas benzoyl peroxide on the spot vanishing cream on problem areas. I use moisturizer as needed - usually only right before I put foundation on. And perhaps most importantly - I elminated ALL salicycic acid from my skin care routine. I feel that the elimination of that chemical, in combonation with consistent use of benzoyl peroxide have been the primary factors involved in my skin improvement. Although the benzoyl peroxide wash may be irritating in the beginning, Ive found that my skin adjusted to it after a while. I use the product once a day.
