Which is stronger- 70% glycolic acid or 12.5% Tca ?

Has anyone tried either the 70% glycolic acid peel or the 12.5% TCa peel; if so what were the results? What peel do you recommend for acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration?

  1. i would not recomment you using the 70% glycolic acid at home yourself atall. That kind of percentage should be used by one of them professionals or a beautician. You may end up with more skin damage then you started with. try the 12.5% TCA if that's what you already have. but otherwise you might wana try the 50% glycolic acid home kit peel, with alot of caution though. I know it's hard to follow the instructions in the sense that you wana get rid of the scars fast but that won't be the result. i know from experience. make sure u got some vaseline at the ready just incase. but otherwise you should be fine with that amount. so just to clarify try the 12.5% TCA or the 50% glycolic. I think you'll have better results with option B though. Hope i've helped a bit, i know i just rambled on alot. k byee.
