- Not proportionally if you're an adult Your extremities may grow but rest of your body won't, not noticeably anyways. If you're a child and still growing, HGH may help increase your height very slightly, but it would definitely not be worth the risks associated with the therapy if you do not have a medical problem causing GH deficiency. Also... good luck getting a doctor to inject you with HGH if you don't have a medical need for it.
