  1. Try Provacyl: http://www.provacyl.com/clicks/clickthrough.html?a=150901 I heartily recommend it.
  2. First of all, not all supplements are created equal. There are a handful of well made brands on the market and the rest are just downright hit and miss for quality and consistency. The quality factors to look for when researching a company are (the preferred are listed first): organic vs. synthetic fillers and bonders, cold processing vs. heat processing, multi-stage quality control checking vs. not, high phytonutrient content vs. none, and obviously quantity of nutrients (in some, the source of the nutrients can determine the quantity). There's a lot more to it than just picking a brand off of the grocery store shelf. I personally am prone to a manufacturer called Nutrilite. They have all of the above listed best qualities and have been accepted for use by Olympic athletes. In fact they primarily have targeted top athletes for their promotions and as their clients. If you read their history, they were the first to make a multivitamin in North America (1934). I have personally used and endorsed their products for approximately nine years now. I'm only taking the time to say all of this because you seem to be anxious to get into supplements. I don't want to see you waste your money prior to educating yourself. Check out their website, www.nutrilite.com. If you're located in Southern California, tour their facility in Buena Park. Check out the health store that I buy mine from, www.keylagohealth.com (by the way, they are difficult to find because of their marketing methods). Learn as much as you can from credible sources before jumping into this. What to take entirely depends on your goals, diet and exercise routine. I will say that the average American diet is lacking in omega 3, fruits and vegetables, and various A-K vitamins that you would get out of a multi. My recommendation, if you’re as serious as you sound, would be to go on www.keylagohealth.com and take the free Personalized Health Questionnaire. I did that and they custom tailored vitamin packets just for me base off of my diet, exercise habits, medical conditions, medications, overall lifestyle, etc. I recommend this to everyone that I counsel about nutrition (if I believe that they are serious). I hope you research and find what's best for you. Take care.
  3. Wow. You asked for it, so you'll probably get a lot here. Other than drinking a lot of water and eating a healthy nutritional diet, I added a supplement to my day. * It helps build my immune system so that it can fight its' own problems. * It helps me sleep better at night, thus having more energy during the day. * It is all natural with no preservatives. * It is a juice product that is nutritional dense, so if you drink it 15 minutes before a meal, your brain will think that your stomach is fuller, thus you eat less. * It has all of the minerals and vitamins recommended for daily consumption, and more. Name? Can't name it here, but if you look at my 360 degrees on Yahoo, you can learn more.
