HGH for children?
my 14 yr old was diagnosed with short stature. He is not hormone deficient,but since he is not even on the pediactric growth chart, the Dr. is recommending HGH. The only problem is that this is one injection each day for about 1-2 years. My son is deathly afraid of needles. Does anyone know any other treatments that we could ask the endocronologist about?

- that is the only way to get treated. there is no other way yet. Have your doctor explain to your son about why he has to do this. after a few times he will get use to it. I've been doing it for years and it's no big deal.
