HGH product...does it give results?
I don't want to hear that HGH is bad for you and you shouldn't do it because blah blah. I'm 23 years old, I know what it's all about. I want to know if Dr.'s Growth HormoneTriple Strength by Fountain of Youth will give me some results. I tried Humagro, a similar product perhaps, and had a slight change. Anyone used the Fountain of Youth product HGH? If so, please tell me your results on building muscle with this supplement. Thanks!

- Wisdom does not accompany age all the time. I have my Masters in Exercise Science and I wrote the majority of my thesis on supplementation, so I will give you my opinion on the product. The pro hormone included in this product seems to be tribulus terrestris. It claims to boost gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) which in turn stimulates the production of LH and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), thus increasing testosterone levels. I read probably 15-20 articles from medical journals on this supplement. The overwhelming results said that T. terrestris caused no increase in testosterone or LH in young men. It is possible to get the placebo effect from this supplement. So go ahead and use all the HGH you want, but I am now going to give you some information that i hope you absorb. All pro hormone drugs increase levels of androstenedione. Androstenedione is the common precursor of male and female sex hormones. Some androstenedione is also secreted into the plasma, and may be converted in peripheral tissues to testosterone and estrogens. Because androstenedione is converted in part to estrogens, persons taking this supplement may have estrogenic side-effects. A visible problem could be gynecomastia (formation of breast tissue) in males. If you are still not turned off yet, here is a list of other possible side effects: high blood pressure and heart disease, liver damage, stroke, headaches, vomiting, sleep problems, damage to ligaments and tendons, severe acne, and last but not least baldness. Almost forgot one of the more disturbing effects of steroid use for males is that the body begins to produce less of its own testosterone. As a result, the testicles may begin to shrink.
