Beauty experts HELP!!!?

I'm only 24 but started using eye creams about two years ago 1) to make a smooth contour for applying eye make up, and 2) to help the dark circles under my eyes (had been there for years) I stopped buying eye creams about six months cause I couldn't afford them anymore. If my eyes feel too dry I just use my regular face moisturizer around my eyes as well... But now my eyes seem to be very wrinkly on the top and bottom and the skin more saggy than before... is this because I stopped using the eye creams or because I started using the face moisturizer on my eyes? Should I stop using either? And if I go back to the eye creams should I just be using them on the bottom or the top lids too? Thanks for your help!!! x x x

  1. one word - BOTOX
  2. It sounds like its because you stopped using the eye cream.. Try going to CVS and getting one of their brands or maybe Loreal or Garnier Fructis. You can find cheaper creams than designer ones that do the same thing.
  3. Use vaseline, it's very inexpensive.
  4. go to a dermatologist and she will recommend the best cream for that minor problem... usually nuetragena healthy skin products are recommended by most dermatologist
  5. i use vaseline. it doesnt actually soak into the skin but it acts as a protective barrier. it's very good and cheap too
  6. normal facial moisturiser is way too heavy for the eyes...... u need to go back to the eye cream, loreal and nivea do inexpnsive ones, you only need the tiniest wee bit, grain of sand size does both eyes. start at outer corner of eyes and sweep in gently being really careful not to drag the skin, juse do this on the outer socket and the cream will diffuse up into the more delicate areas by itself. its shit being a woman and havin to worry about these things ! ! !
  7. STOP WITH THE MOISTRERIZER NOW!! EYE CREAM ONLY ON BOTTOM K? MY MUMS A BEAUTY CONSULTABNT SO STOP! :)
  8. Hey Hunny_X You Should Start Using The Eye Creams Again I Think Thats Why Your Eyes Are Going A Little Funny_X Only Use The Cream On The Bottom =]
  9. normal moisturiser isnt as concentrated as an eye cream or gel try using an eye gel for first thing on a morning as this is lighter and will make your eyes feel and look more awake then buy a eye cream to apply every night before you go to bed your skin repairs and renews its self between 10pm and 2am so this will be very nourshing for the eye area it doesnt have to be expensive stuff either any thing does the trick try using one for sensitive skin.
  10. You do NOT have to use eye cream around your eyes. Eye creams are so expensive and face moisturizers work just as well! But it is important to have the right ingredientes in your face moisturizer: Vitamin A and E. If you cant find a cream with both vitamins, then buy the one with vitamin A. Vitamin A helps skin's elasticity. At the moment i do use an eye cream that a teacher in my modeling school recommended. It is an eye cream from L'Oreal. Dont remember the name right now. BUT, over it i put on my Vitamin A face lotion around my eyes only. I do not use this same cream for my face, because i have oily skin, and wouldnt want to break out. ALSO, and very important.... If you have damaged the skin around your eyes, try using the vitamin A capsuls sold in stores as pills. Every night, stick a needle in one of the capsuls and pinch it, and with your ring finger, dab it under your eye and not on your eye lids. Hope i helped! PS: Im 29, and people get shoked to know my age... They say i look like im 18 or 19....not more than 20. :)
  11. i personally think the problem is that your skin got so accostomed to those creams that now with out them it's different. i don't like using creams that long because it's something you get used to that when something happens, in your case, can't afford them anymore it could be to late. but for your luck there are creams just as good and affordable as the others. http://www.target.com/gp/search/601-5370634-0102554?ie=UTF8&search-alias=target&index=target&field-browse=1038576&ref=sr%5Fbx%5F1%5F1&viewID=drill-down&store=&field-keywords=eye%20cream&page=1 hope i could help
  12. on a bottle of moisturizer it usually says to not use on the eye area so obviously it shouldnt be used on the eye area, go back to your normal eye cream as it has obviously worked and keep using the moisturizer for the rest of your face. It could be because of the weather (thats if your in England) as 6 months ago it was summer and not its winter and the weather can play havoc with your skin your best bet is to use the eye cream on both bottom and top lids. :D xxx
  13. At your age you shouldn't have bags under your eyes . Do you slack on your sleep habits ? The only thing that will cure this is a well balanced diet , a decent 8 hr sleep every night. try mud packs on your face.clay like mud you should be able to find in your yard even . if not try your local Wall mart . use oil of olay to restore the elasticity in your skin. and stop waring makeup . be natural.. If you do ware makeup only use powders. foundations clog your pores. and take a toll on your complexion. Mud or Hectorite should tighten the sags in general .like I said eating right has a lot to do with your face and hair.
  14. use the eye cream agan
