wrinkle creams causing wrinkles?

Whenever I use a wrinkle preventative cream for lines and wrinkles, it actually dries my skin out and causes more wrinkles, especially in certain areas. My skin must be all out of whack, or just plain sensitive. I don't know. It happens with every wrinkle cream imaginable. I wanted to know if anyone else out there has experienced this? Thanks.

2. I don't know about that one, but try the lancome wrinkle cream. It works.

4. Maybe the product you are using is full of chemicals and your skin is reacting to it. I use a botanical system for 5 years and I love it....never had a problem with it and i look younger and skin feels great.
5. retinol in wrinkle creams tend to exfoliate the topmost skin layer (drying is necessary to peel it off) and resurface the underlying newer and fresher skin tone.. but this stage should not continue for a long time.. or maybe you're applying the cream with pressure.. the only finger that should touch the eye area is the tip of the ring finger, in gentle dabbing motions.. absolutely no pulling.. otherwise any cream would be useless.. that's my experience with wrinkle creams which basically contain retinol or retin-a..
6. use a topical botox like Ultrox - the topical replacment for botox. www.athomeskincare.com. it also has hyaluronic acid in it which is the number one moisturizer right now!
7. Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the face with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water.
