if i use creams for dark circles under my eyes...?
will that make the skin under my eyes age prematurely, what i mean is that i'm 19, so if i use an under eye cream now, will the fix be temporary and start geting worse when i'm in my twenties?

- dark circles have a number of causes - lack of rest, genetics, diet...... use creams sparingly
- Get some rest! Using cream is a good thing. Nothing you can do to keep your skin from aging. Get plenty of rest and eat properly.
- Actually sort of. Cause when your in your late 20's to mid thirties when you should start aging without the cream the aging process becomes worse. Not significantly but you'll notice.
- First, make sure the dark circles just isn't the residue of eye makeup. Get a really good eye makeup remover and be sure to take your makeup off every night before bed. No exceptions. Use a moisturizer before bed, too. See if that helps. You are only 19 and it isn't likely you really do have dark circles. Try the good eye makeup remover. I bet that helps, Sweetie.
- Well if you have the issue now, it probably will only get worse... but the issue stems from things like genetics, stress, lack of sleep, dehydration, and poor diet. Using a creme now won't make the problem any worse, but take a look at more traditional remedies. Trying to fix the problem form inside will help...
- Cures Although to date, there has been no end all to curing or reducing dark circles, there are many home-made ingredients that can help make the dark circles less visible. For example it is said that putting teabags under the eyes, drinking plenty of fluids and a lot of rest can suffice.[citation needed] Make-up can be used to change the coloration of any exposed skin. Dark circles can also be caused by lack of excercise Unlike the common Myth, drinking has, little effect on dark circles Age Dark circles are likely to become more noticeable and permanent with age. Excess folds of skin under the eyes will also make dark circles more pronounced.[citation needed]
- Hello, I use to work for a cosmetic/skin care company this is what I learned and researched on my own. Genetics, lack of hydration, left over make up, lack of sleep, not having enough of vitamins, minerals and trace minerals and some conditions can cause this. Using a moisturizer is fine. I would use something "Organic". Something like this will not prematurely age your skin. Use it on clean skin in the a.m and p.m. Make sure you "pat" it on gently. You do not want to slightly tear the skin, which can happen by rubbing back and forth. That is some of the thinnest skin on your body, so be gentle. Make sure you are getting 7-8 hours of good sleep. Between 10pm-2am is when your body is in a major healing mode. Sincerely, Angelique
- No! If anything it would make your skin there age more slowly! I have no idea where you got this idea...
- There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known. http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11/27/causes-of-dark-circles/ If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions: Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles. http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2007/01/01/special-spa-home-remedy-to-reduce-dark-circles/ http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com .. tips on how to reduce dark circles, the causes of dark circles, home remedies, eye creams reviews, make up tips, and natural healer.
- The easiest and healthiest ways to remove dark circles would be by getting plenty of sleep, rest, increasing your water intake at least 8 glasses of water a day & last but not least eating well. - Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care. Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in lukewarm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. Some more useful tips at http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/
- If you're already using eye cream be consistent and use them everyday to prevent you from getting wrinkles and age faster.
