Dark circles and lines around eyes?

The circles under my eyes are a mixture of blue and purple and it goes from the top of the nose bone and out towards my cheeks. I'm only 16 so its not aging or anything. I get plenty of sleep too. I've been using a cream but it hasn't worked at all. How long does it take to work??? But anyway I wear glasses and I don't know if that has something to do with it or not cause i always wear them. I've tried getting sun on my eyes without my glasses on but that hasn't done anything. I really want to get rid of the dark circles and lines for good but if nothing can fix it I would at least want to cover it up as much as possible. So my question is do u know of any eye creams for teenagers who get enough sleep and who don't have aging issues, especially wrinkles?? Cause thats what alot of the creams are for- anti-aging. And do you know of any concealers for this?? Hopefully the concealers don't really make it worse long-term.

  1. those creams dont work. dont waste your money on them. best thing is to get a concealer. unfortunately, you have to spend a little more money for a decent one, but it is worth it. the highest reccommended one is by YSL and it costs about $40.
  2. Don't use any creams. When you were younger, you needed less sleep. Now you need more, and you are just getting the sleep a 10 year old would need. You should sleep more, and relax. Don't go parting every night. Don't follow Lindsay Lohan's footsteps. Also, you must be stressed out, and so you don't get enough sleep. No need to thank me, Sami
  3. I used a product called the Face-lift Stylus. It uses micro current to act as an acupuncture facial rejuvenation. It really work for me. I felt that I needed something that worked quick and without "smelly perfume based creams". This product did not use any lotions or potions just Chinese medicine. See their site at www.FaceLiftStylus.com
  4. okay well i have the same problem, and im 16 to so what i find helps is when you use a cream it doesnt get rid of the dark circlles, but it does smooth the undereye area so use it !be sure to apply enough i used to apply only a little cus i thought it made my concealer look to slicked on.. but anyways i got frustrated and so i tried this neutralizer. by revlon its like a really yellow yellow or something and if you blend it in after applying your cream you'll see its really white lookin but if you put on another concealer over it i use MAC maximum coverage concealer in my shade. it blends with it so you cant notice the white of the other concealer, but be sure to always use a maximum coverage concealer not that liquid crap, cus it doesnt cover dark circles. And you can either use one that blends with your skin or something one shade darker over that neutralizer i havent tried that but i still find my own skin tone concealer helps too.
  5. I feel really sorry for you. I have the same thing accept I do not really know if mine is as bad as yours. No offense. If you have allergies it can cause dark circles. I would try to get even more sleep. Keep using your cream and you can try to use make up. like a powder or something.
  6. Hey There, Ive always had dark circles too.I am 29 but ive had them for at least 17 years. I wear glasses and definately think that it has something to do with it. I was also told that it had something to do with my adrenals being drained. I have been drinking an infusion of Nettles, licorice, dandelion and burdock root everyday. It has helped quite a bit.The licorice increases blood pressure, I have low blood pressure so this is good for me but maybe not for everyone. Nettles is amazing for nutrients, feeding & replenishing your body & burdock and dandelion cleanse your blood. I take the dried herbs already mixed together and put them in a mason jar and then pour boiled water and then put the lid on. Let it set overnight and then strain and drink all the next day. I hope this helps! It has helped me so much!

Low iron levels is the most common form of anemia, and results in poor oxygenation body tissues due to lessened blood oxygenating efficiency. Unfortunately for us, one of the areas this shows most of all is under the eyes where vessels tend to clot and pool, thus causing the darkening and eye circle effect we are on this site to try and fight. Sinus & Nasal problems associated with dark bags 27 Apr Posted under: Causes & Treatment Nasal inflammation and sinus congestion can cause a more serious effect known as venous congestion, which is interfering with the return path of blood to the heart after it has been pumped out. This low pressure system due to congestion is a serious effect which slows down and impairs the bloods flow through our body, trapping it as it attempts to flow through the tiny vessels found in our facial area. The blood may pool in this area and shows through the skin where the blood vessels build up, usually near our eyes causing a purplish like circle!! HERE IS A STORY CONTAINING A CURE Any teenage girl would be upset to find out that her raccoon eyes were hereditary, and my baby sister was no exception. As if by magic, or some strange evil curse, she woke up one morning with our family's famous dark eye circles. Its particularly noticeable in the women, and my mother and grandmother have been masking it for years. Yes maybe it is a function of poor diet, and yes maybe it is lack of exercise. Who knows? But neither my Dad or my Mother was too interested in spending HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS buying clinque-this and oil-of-that to appease my sister's vanity. They weren't going to raise another cosmetic product junkey and so no matter how hard she cried, they wouldn't cave. Of course, my Grandpa couldn't stand to see his only granddaughter upset about anything. . . The old man went off to his laboratory where he concocted a miracle paste. He poured one tablespoon of tomato juice into a shot glass, and added a half tablespoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of turmeric powder. What is turmeric powder you ask? It's an Indian spice. India produces 100% of the world's supply and consumes 80%. Anyway Grandpa thickened the paste by adding bleached white flour until the sauce achieved a sticky consistency. Grandpa made my sister lie down on the sofa and close her eyes she had to keep her eyes shut no matter what. Then Grandpa insisted that she keep perfectly still while he painted her face and eyes with his potent mixture. My sister was made to lie perfectly still and only take deep breathes for ten or fifteen minutes... until she could stand it no longer. When she washed off the smelly red paste we simply couldn't believe the difference. I wish I had taken pictures, it was remarkable. The dark circles were gone. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT AND GOOD LUCK
