Dark under eye circles :(?
I have tried a million types of concealers.. sticks, creams, foundations..whatever.. i even tried a VERY expensive under eye cream ( "Under Eye Brighten" ). Nothing WORKED! I get plenty of sleep, i'm not stressed or anything.. Everyone always says I look tired and it's so annoying. Any suggestions for concealers or creams that REALLY work.. REALLY! I am iron deficient but I take pills. I do not have anorexia nervosa. I get about 8-9 hours of sleep on average a night, and sometimes I may sleep in on the weekends. I doubt it has to do with sleep or diet.. I do sleep on my stomach.. I can't fall asleep any other way. And for the last time.. I SLEEP FINE lol

- talk to your doctor.
- Mary Kay products can make any tired face all bright again.
- do you sleep on your side or tummy? well thats what causes the circles. always sleep on your back.
- Well dark circles are hereditary *don't know if you can read that so passed down through generatins* so you get them if your mom had them etc. you should try concealer or green powder. I am sure if you look it up you will find some ideas!
- Okay, what I am going to tell you sounds wierd, but if you want your bags to go away then you need to do this. Everynight keep 2 spoons in the freezer. In the mornig after your shower place one spoon under each eye (on the bags) for 30 sec- 1 minute. You need to press a little firmly but not too much. I doesn't feel great, but honest it works. good luck
- mary kay has an awesome new product its called TimeWise Targeted-Action Eye Revitalizer its only $35 its amazing!!
- Do you have seasonal allergies?? You could have "allergic shiners," dark circles caused from seasonal allergies and sinus congestion. If you have allergies, treating them may be the only treatment for the dark circles.
- Tired, lack of vitamin a, k, and or iron.
- Elle- No it's not. Not at all. Anyways, dark circles under your eyes is a sign of anemia, which is normal disease, you just need to go to your doctor and get iron pills, and if you don't want to get pills you'll have to put more iron into your diet.
- Doesent that piss you off? It pisses me off. Why do I have them? Im a teenager. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck! Thats all I have to say about that. Sorry as u can tell I just love sharing my miserry on this topic. idk.
- Usually these circles mean you need more sleep so make sure you're getting enough sleep. Sometimes these circles can be inherited and then there's not much you can do about it. Remember that sometimes the most expensive products aren't the best. I hope this helps. =]
- Check about vitamins. I am real dark like this also. The only time in my life I have not been, I was in the hospital and getting all the proper nourishment.I had a major operation and they had me on everything to keep me healthy. I have now gone back to my old ways of eating etc. and have the circles again.
- This is the second time Ive suggested this tonight, but Id try Ginkgo Biloba extract. Dark circles under the eyes can be genetic, in which case theres not a great deal you can do about it, however it can also be due to bad circulation and a build up of toxins under your eyes. Ginkgo helps your blood circulation. Also eye exercises can help but make sure you dont overdo it otherwise you risk birsting blood vessels in your eye which is never pretty! Also lying down and placing warm, wet tea bags over your eyes can help refreshen then, not sure how this works but it may be to do with the caffine that helps draw out toxins. But anyway theres just afew suggestions.
- Try using sliced cucumbers. Put them on your eyes for about 20 minutes and you have a 90% chance of the dark circles going away. If everything else that people suggest fail, consult with your local doctor just in case.

- Unlike most people I'm not going to tell you that you need more sleep. I have huge under eye circles to, now days they're caused by no sleep, but in the past they weren't. I use Clean & Clear Morning Glow Under Eye Brightening Cream. It's cheap but it really works for me. Try A) Drinking more water B) if you can stand it, sleeping on two pillows. Sometimes people have the dark circles due to the fact that when they lay down the small blood vessels under the eye bust. When it goes to putting on makeup. First I use a light concealer then I take a eye shadow brush (the bristled one not the sponge ones) and lightly run my blush (it's pink) under my eye. Then I put regular foundation over it then powder. And It really hides my circles well. I know it sounds strange but give it a try. I got the idea from a magazine that said to use red lipstick. I didn't want to spend the money on the red lipstick so I tried out my pink blush. Good Luck. I hope that helped some
- Unfortunately, your dark circles may be hereditary and there's nothing you can do to get rid of it. I have the same problem. People stare at me and I've even been asked if I've been in a fight because my circles get darker if I'm tired or if I don't wear concealer. My dermatologist basically said that I have my parents to thank since it's genetic. I use Dermablend concealer stick and it works okay. It's the thickest concealer (next to costume/theater make-up) that I've found and it stays put all day. You can layer it until you get the coverage you want and just dust it with the setting powder and you should be good to go for the day. Just know you're not alone. I know how frustrating it can be to have people tell you that you look like crap or wonder if you've been punched. I've tried pretty much every concealer out there, too, and although some work for most people, those dark circles are a bugger to cover completely. Dermablend is what works for me, though. Hope this helps.
- Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care.Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. - Try a sample of Hide It corrective concealer in the Cinderella Yella color from LAMinerals website. It's only $1 and they ship it free. Thats what I use. It's a mineral powder, but its creamy, and it stays put really good. I don't think you should put liquid makeup over it,it would smear. I put mineral powder foundation over my concealer when I apply it to my whole face. Totally evens out my skin tones.
