Quick question about anti-wrinkle creams?
This question is preferably directly to someone who is an expert/familiar with the subject. Is it alright for people in their late teens (17,18,19) to use anti-wrinkle creams to prevent wrinkles in the future? Would using them now make them ineffective in the future? How effective would an anti-wrinkle cream be to someone my age (late teen) in preventing wrinkles? I know it may seem odd, but I've wondered about this for a while. Thanks a lot, Lauren

- I'd say dont worry about it till the time comes. However I'm 20 years old and guilty of putting NIvea Q10 firming lotion on my face. The stuff feels great.... It cant hurt...but I wouldnt waste my money!
- Actually, yes it is alright to use even @ your age. Wouldn't hurt. Why? Because, everyone has damaged skin, from sun and elements. Not really necessary, at your age, moisturizing and preventative is the most important. A preventative would be, something with alot of SPF and possibly Vitamin C. But in your 20's for sure, using a mild alpha hydroxy or a regenerate product wouldn't hurt. This will make you think that your skin is getting dry, but what it is doing is regenerating new cells and bringing the old cells to the surface, so a scrub is very important to remove dead cells, which we all have and should scrub anyway at any age. But this product will produce more dead cells as regeneration starts. So, in my opinion, for your age, cleanse, tone, scrub (2 times p/wk), moisturize, prevent. There are your basics. Hope this helps, and good luck!
