can we use moisturizing creme for oily skin?

1. Keri (fragrance free) try to use oil free lotion. (and yes you CAN find it, if you read the backs of the bottles)
2. i personally wouldnt suggest it.. try using something lighter.. or if anything else dab only pea amounts in your T zone
3. You can but its not recommended. It will dry out your skin more. Just wash with hot water and a CLEANSER for oily skin regularly. Try a mild cleanser that cleanses without drying.
4. I would say yes, but make sure it's oil-free. Clinique has a moisturizing gel for oily skin that works great. It's around $25.
5. Of course! All skin needs to be moisturized. I recommend Clinique's brand of moisturizer. It's formulated specifically for oily skin (if you ask).
6. Be careful because not all OIL FREE claims are real. You will want to look for moisturizing lotins or gels, NOT creams. Mary Kay makes a great one that has without a doubt helped my very oily face. It is light enough to not make me into an oil slick by noon yet thick enough to moisturize. ALSO use your SPF.. Very important.
7. GlyDerm has one for oily skin called Hydrotone Lite. It has no petroleum and no mineral oil. It's very concentrated. Just dab some in your palm and add some water, mix it up a little bit and apply sparingly to your face. You can find it online. Many derms/cosmetic surgeons recommend it.
8. Don't be oil-phobic. Oil-free products don't guarantee a matte face! Oily skin needs moisture, too - in fact, if you let it dry out, it just gets more oily. I have very oily skin (all over, not just the t-zone), and find the following products work for me: For daytime - Estee Lauder Clear Difference Oil-Absorbing Moisturizer, plus Boots No7 Shine Free Makeup Base (primer, which I usually wear without makeup). For nighttime - Dab a little Alba Sea Plus Renewal Cream around my eyes, neck, and decolletage before bed.
9. You NEED to use a moisturizer for oily skin. Your skin, like mine was, is imbalanced and is over-producing natural oils. A good skin care regimen will balance your skin and keep oils at bay.
